Dr. Jwala Narayanan is a senior consultant neuropsychologist based in Bengaluru, renowned for her work in memory disorders, dementia, and neuropsychological rehabilitation. With a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from India and advanced specialisation in Neuropsychology from the University of Glasgow (UK), her work highlights a strong international and clinical perspective to cognitive assessment and care. She serves as the Chief Neuropsychologist at the Cognitive Neurology Clinic and is a co-founder of The Green Oak Initiative, a community-focused mental health centre aimed at accessible and holistic care. Dr Narayanan is closely involved in the diagnosis, longitudinal monitoring, and cognitive rehabilitation of dementia spectrum disorders and has held consultant roles at several leading institutions, including Manipal Hospitals and Annaswamy Mudaliar General Hospital. An active academician and public educator, she has authored and edited scholarly works in neuropsychology, including contributions to "Neuropsychological Consequences of COVID-19: Life After Stroke," and regularly advocates for brain health through public addresses and media engagement.
